The Dayton Mercantile is a summer hot spot for tourists and a quick stop for locals, serving tasty toasted sandwiches and ice cream treats along with gifts, old fashioned candy and antique treasures. You can also find Native beadwork such as; bracletes, hat bands, rings, and bags, and other locally made jewlary that is embedded with Wyoming-grown Jade and Turquiose. The historic Dayton Mercantile has been painstakingly preserved and has recently been listed on the National Register of Historic Places so all can enjoy the little piece of the Ol’Wild West for years to come.
